We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our continued progress of Aspen Meadows. The Brian Head Town Council recently approved 5-0 the full annexation of nearly 1800 acres of the 2000 acres of Aspen Meadows master-plan project into the greater Brian Head Town boundaries from Iron County, paving the way for a transformative development that will positively impact Aspen Meadows and the ski industry at large.    Now, 100% of the land destined as a part of Aspen Meadows lies within the Town Boundaries of Brian Head. Our annexation improves communications, permitting, and planning activities for Aspen Meadows and Brian Head together with Brian Head Resort. This annexation supports future development and expansion of new future ski area terrain, key town infrastructure projects and new community amenities. With this approval and in collaboration with Brian Head Resort, Aspen Meadows will introduce 850 new acres of skiable terrain and feature a new master plan of a new ski-in, ski-out community. As we transition from an exhilarating winter and welcome the vibrancy of spring, it's the perfect moment to reflect on the highlights that have shaped our winter season. Despite the initial snowfall challenges, the ski season at Brian Head is ending on a high note with our ski season extended to May 5th! We've celebrated many successful events and welcomed new visitors, including members of the Cedar City Nordic Club and many enthusiastic New Founders. Founders Program Extended another 50 days through Memorial Weekend to June 2nd! In the realm of real estate at Aspen Meadows, the early indicators for spring are promising. We've observed a notable increase in pending properties and recent Founder homesite sales over this winter season, reflecting a healthy reception to Aspen Meadows and a pent-up demand for a high-quality new ski & summer resort community, never before seen in Brian Head. This early trend, coupled with our release of Phase Two for the Southeast Neighborhood, suggests an extremely busy summer ahead. Now is the perfect time to select your new ski-in, ski-out homesite lot in the snow… then revisit in the spring and catch the change of season! For those contemplating the purchase of one of our remaining Phase One homesites or exploring our new Phase Two ski-in, ski-out homesites in the near future, now is the opportune time to visit Brian Head this spring. Plan on a fun day on the mountain, hiking our many choices and then choose your homesite and we will have your purchase agreement prepared for you. Here's a helpful tip: Many of our Founders initially selected their homesite over the phone, prior to their first visit to Aspen Meadows, and signed their purchase agreement remotely, and then visited during their 60-day due diligence period to begin the process. Interesting fact: In about 85% of cases, our early Founders stayed with their original homesite choice. And in approximately, the remaining 15% who signed remotely to start the process, then opted for a different homesite during their visit. Step 2. Then once under contract, simply wire your $50,000.00 Ernest Money Deposit to Cottonwood Title. Enjoy a full 60-day due diligence period to review all your documents including our Design and Development Guidelines for finding inspiration in designing and building your new ski home - a perfect time to allow you to explore your homesite both now with snowshoes and again as the snow recedes. Step 3. Then your closing date is scheduled 21 days after your due diligence period. It’s that Simple! Something very unexpected and humbling occurred this past weekend in Brian Head. It is one of those special “moments” we each have experienced in our own lives. And memories we each will never forget. It happened innocently, suddenly, and in just a matter of seconds. Right outside the deck of our Yurt field offices, among all of us who were in Brian Head this past weekend. It quietly appeared. ”The Emergence of Community” at Aspen Meadows. We each were in Brian Head for different reasons. Some of us to attend the Cedar Breaks at Night Half Marathon. Some to begin the process of individually designing our own future ski homes. And some new to Brian Head, who decided to become future Founders, discovering the serenity, soul, and tranquility of Aspen Meadows found in nature, the renewal, and the spirit of “Mountain Community,” which is authentically Brian Head. It was a magical moment to witness - new residents of a new community - each meeting each other for the first time - and discovering common interests - and fellowship - with some even finding “six degrees of separation” among their friends and lives. This moment was when we could watch, listen, and see new neighbors coming together for their first moments, now emerging in Aspen Meadows. Our special thanks to Anne Marie, Brad, Patty, Mike, KL, Ted, Lisa, Chris, Mike, Nelson, Sean, Mike, Brit, Roger and Lyle. From a midnight run with a surprise rainbow at sunset to an unexpected and humble gesture of a simple gift of wine by one of our Founders - the symbolic gift of happiness - finished with an early morning comet overhead. This weekend was a memorable time for all of us as a new community, and it feels like a turning point and a special moment for Brian Head. And how cool a moment it was. Thank you.
