Exterior Inspirations

The exterior of the Aspen Meadows Inspiration Home is designed for both beauty and resilience. Using fire-resistant wood siding, locally sourced stone, durable metal accents, and a radiant heated driveway, the home blends seamlessly with its mountain setting while standing strong against the elements. Every detail ensures long-term performance, low maintenance, and timeless curb appeal in the heart of Brian Head.

Radiant Heated Driveway

The radiant heated driveway offers significant benefits for a mountain house, primarily by eliminating the need for manual snow removal, allowing homeowners to relax with coffee instead of donning coats and gloves to attack a snow-packed driveway first thing in the morning.

The system helps driveways and surrounding landscape look better and last longer by eliminating the need for snow plows and shovels scraping the surface, while also reducing the corrosive effects from salt and harsh snow melting chemicals.

Additionally, the system incorporates automatic sensors that detect inclement weather to activate the system requiring less maintenance, making them particularly valuable for mountain locations where the system ensures the home remains secure and accessible during tough winter months while boosting both safety and ease of access.

Metal Accent Siding

Pre-finished metal siding offers exceptional advantages for mountain house construction due to its durability and low-maintenance characteristics.

Metal siding is resistant to pests, fire, and rot, making it an excellent choice for rugged mountain climates, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for decades, while steel siding does not crack, melt, splinter, rot, or wick water, making it ideal for homes in diverse climates.

The pre-finished aspect also eliminates the issues with on-site painting

concerns in harsh mountain weather.

Natural Stone

Natural stone is provided by Delta Stone and is a requirement within Aspen Meadows’ SARC (Site Architectural Review Committee) Design and Development Guidelines. The Inspiration home also incorporates regionally sourced stone veneer which significantly reduces transportation costs and environmental impact compared to materials shipped from across the country or internationally.

This broader geographic scope allows you to select stone that is still climatically adapted to similar mountain environments within the region, ensuring it can handle freeze-thaw cycles and weather conditions effectively. For mountain construction, this approach balances environmental responsibility with practical material selection.

Wood Siding & Insulation

The exterior siding consists of a rain screen system using Kebony modified wood siding with Rockwool exterior insulation which provides exceptional performance for mountain houses by combining Rockwool & non-combustible fire resistance and moisture repellency with Kebonys enhanced resistance to decay, fungi, and insects - critical for extreme mountain weather and wildfire risks.

The rain screen gap prevents trapped moisture damage while delivering outstanding durability with minimal maintenance and a 30+ year lifespan, ideal for remote mountain locations where frequent maintenance access is challenging and costly.

Interior Design

View

The inspiration for the furniture at the Inspiration Home within Aspen Meadow began with its stunning, expansive windows with the seamlessly framing of nature.

The vision was to create a home that feels distinctly modern yet warmly organic. To achieve this, we embraced organic space planning and curated western materials that carry both texture and soul with rich leather, petrified wood, cozy shearling, and fabrics whose patterns echo the landscape of Southern Utah. Pops of color in the artwork add a playful contrast, much like the way a single wildflower enlivens the natural palette outside.
